ECE works like a research house run by students. Nine sector teams follow the markets, and our divisions take their work further: writing equity research, reviewing ideas through an ESG lens, studying deals, and managing the club’s portfolios.
It’s hands-on. Members pitch stocks every month, train in valuation, and meet the people who do this for a living, on both of ESSEC’s campuses.

Equity research.
Our Equity Research Division writes institutional-quality equity research reports, working alongside the sector teams.
ESG research.
Our ESG team brings a sustainability lens to every sector, writes ESG reports, and reviews each stock pitch.
Portfolio management.
The Portfolio Management team evaluates pitches from across the sectors, builds and manages different types of portfolios, and tracks live investments.
Investment Banking & Alternatives
Corporate finance.
Our IB&A wing studies M&A: who’s buying, why, and what the deal is worth.
Private equity & credit.
We follow private markets and debt capital markets, from buyout structures to new bond issues.

Conferences & networking.
We host conferences, speaker sessions, and events with industry leaders, top firms, and ECE alumni.
Training & education.
Hands-on training in financial valuation and market analysis gives members the technical skills the industry asks for.

We build relationships with top firms to open internship pipelines and recruiting opportunities for members and the wider ESSEC community.
